Calling prospective players for 2026/27. OUAFC is one of the oldest University football clubs, with a rich history. If you're thinking of applying to Oxford, or have recently been offered a place, we'd love to hear from you.

Player interest

A side for every level.

Our members are always happy to answer any questions you may have about the club, sports at university, or Oxford life in general. Beginners and seasoned players are equally welcome.

How it works

Trials, training, and a season.

Step 01
Register your interest
Fill in the interest form for your section. It only takes a minute, and the captains read every response.
Step 02
We'll be in touch
Trials are held early in Michaelmas Term. We'll email everyone who has registered with the date, time and venue closer to the time. Open to all matriculated students: undergraduates, graduates and visiting students.
Step 03
Pre-season, then the season
Pre-season follows trials, then the BUCS season runs through the year with fixtures most Wednesdays. Cuppers and Reserves Varsity follow in Hilary; the Blues Varsity Match is in spring.
