Our BUCS season went from strength to strength. We won every league game, resulting in promotion to Midlands Tier 1 for the upcoming season. We are extremely proud of this achievement and it is the culmination of many years of hard work with the team and our coach.

Our two top goal scorers (Emilia Warchus and Hannah Williams) scored 18 and 23 goals, with every member of the squad contributing to this hard-fought success. Victory twice over Loughborough 3s were highlights of the league campaign, with our keeper saving a penalty in a match ending 1-0. Winning the league with a game to spare, at Iffley, was also a great moment.

Although we prematurely exited the BUCS cup, we entered the Bath University ‘Elite Universities’ 7 a side tournament in the spring. Playing against Tier 1 and Prem (top division in BUCS) clubs was a challenge that we met with impressive performances. We were unbeaten in the group stages, progressing to the semi final vs Exeter, then Bristol in the final. Convincing victories over these two Prem teams was something really special to end the season on, and gave the returning players some confidence to take into Tier 1.
