Founded in 1871, Oxford University Association Football Club (OUAFC) is one of the world’s oldest football clubs. In 2020, the mens and womens club merged, now offering three mens and womens teams each, alongside both mens and womens futsal teams, and inter-college football.

Our History
The first FA minute book recently discovered in our Bodleian library further adds an interesting twist to the tale. This fragile slip, dated to 1868, offers a critical juncture in our history. Clearly reading ‘Oxford Amalgamation football’, it allows us to record the foundation of OUAFC confidently to 1868, not just from 1872 which was previously thought.
